The Tilbury Solid Rock Café Youth Centre is actively recruiting adult volunteers to help maintain a safe and enriching space for the youth in the Tilbury community.
We have a variety of way you can get involved.
Program Supervision/Mentoring
- Supervising youth aged 10-18 in fun recreation programming
- Advocating and sharing information throughout Tilbury and the wider Chatham-Kent area
Event Volunteers
- Assisting at funding/community events
- Planning/organizing fundraising events to support SRC
Board of Directors*
- Commit to attend monthly meetings to drive and build the organization
- Develop network of support – financial and community involvement
- Volunteer to supervise youth programming
- Advocate for the mission and values of the SRC
All volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one evening per week and are required to submit a clean and recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check (Board members do not require a VSC unless they intend to supervise youth participants).
