Our Mission
The SRC is committed provide youth with a safe and enjoyable environment in which they have the
opportunities to grow into positive, productive, and motivated adults.
We work to create an environment where ALL youth can participate in free recreational and leisure activities that are supervised, safe and educational and hope to grow to continuously help more youth in these aspects. Activities and programming include self-care, acts of kindness, arts & culture, trivia nights, cooking classes, community involvement and much more!
The Tilbury Solid Rock Café Youth Centre has served Tilbury’s youth since the year 2000. After temporarily closing in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SRC resettled in a new location in June 2022, now sharing space at 26 Queen St N with the United Way H.E.L.P. centre. The Tilbury Solid Rock Café Youth Centre serves youth aged 10-18 throughout Tilbury and the surrounding areas (such as Wheatley, Merlin, and Lighthouse Cove).
